Gas prices in Ohio are down compared to last week: See how much here

According to the U.S. Energy Information Administration, state gas prices fell last week, reaching an average of $3.49 per gallon of regular fuel on Monday, down from last week's price of $3.65 per gallon.

The average price of fuel in the state has increased about 17 cents since last month. According to the EIA, gas prices statewide last year were as low as $2.61 on January 8, 2024 and as high as $3.69 on April 10, 2023.

A year ago, the average price of gasoline in Ohio was 0% lower at $3.48 per gallon.

The average price of gasoline in the United States was $3.65 last week, putting prices in the state about 4.5% below the national average. The average national price of gasoline fell from last week's average of $3.67 per gallon.
