David Muir and Linsey Davis will moderate ABC News' New Hampshire GOP debate

David Muir and Linsey Davis will moderate the network's Jan. 18 debate ahead of the New Hampshire Republican primary.

The event, co-sponsored by WMUR-TV, has traditionally been one of the most influential debates of the cycle. But CNN has also scheduled its own debate in New Hampshire for Jan. 21, two days before the vote.

ABC News said this This week Co-hosts Martha Raddatz and Jonathan Karl will also be involved in coverage of the event, along with WMUR political director Adam Sexton.

The debate begins at 9:00 p.m. ET and will take place at Saint Anselm College in Manchester, New Hampshire. The debate will be held in coordination with the New Hampshire Republican State Committee. Candidates who place in the top three in Iowa on Jan. 15 will qualify. They will also be invited to participate if they get at least 10% in two separate statewide polls of GOP voters or at least 10% in two separate polls in the state of New Hampshire.

Muir, presenter and editor-in-chief of World news tonightand Davis, the host of ABC News Live Prime, were moderators of the New Hampshire Democratic debate in 2020, along with Good morning America Co-host George Stephanopoulos. The network has since eliminated Stephanopoulos' title as chief anchor and Muir has taken over as head of special events and breaking news coverage.
