The Badgers host the 2025 Ohio DL for an official visit scheduled for June 14

The Wisconsin Badgers have scheduled an official visit with 2025 three-star defensive back Jayquan Stubbs for the weekend of June 14, he announced.

Stubbs, an Ohio native, had received an offer in the spring and had planned to visit in late April, but was unable to make the trip.

“The feeling was surreal and incredibly rewarding,” Stubbs said of the offer in April. “It was the culmination of hard work, dedication and a sense of accomplishment knowing my efforts were worth it.”

Now he has an official visit coming up and will take a look at Madison before making a decision about his future.

The Badgers believe Stubbs could play either defensive end or defensive tackle, as the 6-foot-1, 220-pound lineman could grow into his body to move inside or be comfortable on the outside .

Stubbs has developed a relationship with defensive line coach EJ Whitlow, which was an important factor for Wisconsin in his recruitment.

“It was great,” Stubbs said of his growing relationship with Whitlow. “He’s a great guy who wants to develop me and take me to the next level and help me take my pass rush and run tackling to a new level.”

Stubbs is currently scheduled to take official visits to West Virginia and Wisconsin, while teams like Minnesota and Purdue are also showing strong interest.
