AUGUSTA – Maine State Credit Union has announced the expansion of its commercial lending team and the promotion of Bruce Harrington to senior vice president of commercial lending and Brandon Clark to assistant vice president of commercial lending.

“Over the last seven years, Bruce has built a strong commercial and small business lending team. “They are focused on helping Maine business owners grow and grow Maine’s economy while staying true to the values of the credit union industry,” said Stephen Wallace, CEO and President of Maine State Credit Union, in a press release.

Harrington leads a team that embodies the values of credit unions in an increasingly competitive industry. Initially launched in the Waterville and Augusta markets, the credit union has expanded its reach along the coast and added Jeff Charland, vice president of commercial lending, to the team to serve the Rockland market in 2022.

Brandon Clark has lending expertise and knowledge of the Augusta market and joined as a commercial lender in 2023. He will continue to focus on the Augusta region and work with Charland to drive growth in the Midcoast region.

Nichole Lee, commercial lender, who was previously branch manager of the Waterville and Gray branches, has transitioned into commercial lending and is a business lender along with Karin Warren, AVP, commercial lender in the Waterville area.

Expanding the commercial lending team with the addition of new lenders, analysts and support staff allows each to focus more on the individual needs of their business owners and introduce new products and tools that make banking easier for business owners. Maine State Credit Union continues to introduce products to make banking easier for owners, launching a Remote Deposit Capture Tool (RDC) earlier this year.

All commercial loans are reviewed and administered in Maine. Lenders work closely with the credit analysts and support teams based at Maine State Credit Union's Augusta and Waterville locations. For more information, visit MaineStateCU.org
