Massachusetts man accused of running over man with his vehicle, leaving a pool of blood – Fall River Reporter

A Massachusetts man is accused of hitting another man with his vehicle this weekend.

According to police, Milford police were dispatched to Milford Regional Hospital shortly after 4 a.m. Saturday for a man who was coming for treatment after being struck by a motor vehicle.

The victim told investigators that he had a verbal altercation with the suspect at approximately 2:28 a.m. after he pointed out to the driver that he was parked in the middle of the street. As the victim walked away, he heard the acceleration of an engine before being struck and thrown over the vehicle. A Milford Police patrol officer then responded to the scene and found the victim's items and pools of blood.

Through the victim's statements and the Milford Police Detective Bureau and CEMLEC Accident Recon investigation, officers were able to locate the suspect vehicle and the suspected driver, 28-year-old Alejandro Gonzalez of Milford. Gonzalez was arrested at 5:48 a.m. and charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, marked lane violation, leaving the scene causing bodily harm and negligent operation of a motor vehicle to endanger.
