“Peter and the Wolf” performance comes to Trenton

On Sunday, May 12, the Capital Philharmonic presents a stirring performance of “Peter and the Wolf.” This exuberant afternoon of singing begins at 3:00 p.m. in the New Jersey State Museum Auditorium, 205 W State St, Trenton, NJ 08608. This special Mother's Day performance is dedicated to mothers and families of all kinds, making this a perfect outing for the day's celebrations. This performance marks the CPNJ's first live performance of Peter and the Wolf, making it a momentous occasion for the orchestra and the audience.

Peter and the Wolf is a delightful work by Serge Prokofiev. Full of imagination and fun, this masterpiece perfectly highlights each of the orchestra's various instruments, making it the perfect introduction to classical music for young listeners.
