This is the most remote place in Arizona!

Arizona is, by definition, a desolate state. In the deserts of the American Southwest, civilization tends to emerge in places that support life: valleys, lakes, and riverbeds.

First up is the state's most isolated community. Most metropolitan areas are usually in close proximity to other cities or communities. This allows for the exchange of culture and ideas and, more importantly, the creation of a larger community.

However, some people just want to be left alone, and there is no better example than Supai, a native community in the Grand Canyon. Considered the most remote community in the mainland United States, it is so remote that mail is still delivered by mule.
