Joseph Gayzik Obituary – Trenton, NJ

TRENTON – Joseph M. Gayzik, 66, of Trenton, died Monday, March 21, 2011, at St. Francis Medical Center.

He was born in Trenton and lived there his entire life. Joe was a member of the New Jersey National Guard and served a full tour of duty.

He was a valued employee, working for the City of Trenton's Public Works Department and Sewer Authority Department for the past 25 years.

He was also a NASCAR fan and an avid fisherman.

Joe was predeceased by his parents, Michael and Mary Mancos Gayzik; his uncle, Joe Mancos; and a sister-in-law, Joan Jablonski.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Pat, to whom he was married for 47 years. a daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Tom Seko of Morrisville, Pennsylvania; three sisters, Barbara Gayzik, Eileen Higgins and Marie Cassagrande; a brother-in-law, Leo Jablonski Sr.; Leo's special wife, Luella Ritchie, and a very special grandson, Paris Ostermann; and Joe's special friend Johnny Mandola.

Joe is also survived by nieces and nephews: Noelle Cassagrande, Anne Marie Monk, Leo Jablonski Jr., Joseph, James and Robert Jablonski; and two great-nieces and five great-nephews Funeral services were held yesterday under the direction of Kutch Funeral Home in Trenton, New Jersey
