'Yellowstone' actor Forrie J. Smith reveals he's back in Montana to finish filming the series

The Yellowstone The cast is getting back to work on the final episodes of the acclaimed series.

On Friday, series star Forrie J. Smith shared a video on his Instagram page in which he speaks directly to fans.

“Hey everyone, I’m back in Montana and just finishing up YellowstoneSmith told his followers in the clip. “I’m blessed with that.”

He then shared his weekend plans and invited fans to attend the East Helena Rodeo fundraiser on Saturday, where he will be the guest of honor. Born and raised in Montana, Smith grew up as a real rodeo rider before pursuing acting.

ET spoke to another Yellowstone star Lainey Wilson at the 2024 ACM Awards on Thursday, where she said she's still in the dark about plans for her character Abby in the final six episodes of the show's fifth and final season.

“I literally still don't know, but I'm waiting for the call,” Wilson shared, revealing that there's still a lot of uncertainty when it comes to her future on the show.

According to Wilson, only series co-creator Taylor Sheridan knows for sure what will happen to her character and the series in general.

“He has so many irons in the fire that I don’t know how he does it,” Wilson added.

She most recently told ET in April that she would be “shocked” if her character didn't appear.

“I'll be honest with you. I would be shocked,” Wilson, 31, told ET. “And I think like [series creator] Taylor Sheridan writes his stories and he just has a wonderful way of bringing things back and letting them go – I'll be shocked. So we'll see what happens.

Yellowstone is streaming on Paramount+. The final episodes are scheduled to premiere on November 10th.
