Helen Burkhart Obituary – Hamilton, NJ

Helen D. Burkhart HAMILTON – Helen D. Burkhart, 99, of Hamilton, died Sunday at Greenwood House, Ewing. She was born in Trenton and lived there all her life. Helen was previously employed by Circle F Industries and also worked at the Trenton Cigar Factory. She was a member of St. Raphael's Holy Angels Parish, the Hamilton Art Group and the Princeton Swingers Golf Club. Helen enjoyed playing golf and was an avid gardener. Daughter of the late Ladislaus and Hedwig Sikora Augustyn and wife of the late Anthony J. Burkhart, she is survived by her son Anthony S. Burkhart and her partner Judith Robb of Hamilton and her grandchildren Michelle (Tom) Harkness of Clinton and Michael (Theresa). Burkhart of Baltimore, Md., her great-grandson Michael Burkhart Jr., her sister Catherine Turner of Florida and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Kingston & Kemp Funeral Home, 260 White Horse Ave., Hamilton (www.KingstonandKemp.com). The funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. at St. Raphael's Church, 3500 S. Broad St., Hamilton. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, 1800 Hamilton Ave., Hamilton.
