North Texas SC gets three points with 2-1 win over Timbers2

  • Midfielder Alejandro Urzua made his debut in the 2024 MLS NEXT Pro season.
  • Pedrinho scored his second goal and Diego García his third of the season.

Arlington, Texas (May 18, 2024) – North Texas SC (4-1-4, 19 points) defeated Timbers2 (3-4-3, 13 points) 2-1 thanks to goals from Diego García and Pedrinho on Saturday night at Choctaw Stadium.

Go, Diego, go!
Midfielder Diego García scored his third goal of the season, tying his career high of three goals in 2023. All three of his goals came at Choctaw Stadium. García, along with Tarik SCott, leads North Texas in goals scored (three).

PRIMEIRO EM CASA
Midfielder Pedrinho scored his first goal and second goal of the season at Choctaw Stadium. The Rio de Janeiro native leads the team with five goal contributions (two goals, three assists). Pedrinho scored his first goal for North Texas SC on April 21 against Colorado Rapids 2.

ACADEMY PROTOCOL
FC Dallas Academy striker Daniel Baran was substituted for three minutes. Academy players have made 5 appearances and 178 minutes of play this season.
