MILFORD, CT – Here are the arrests Milford Police recently made:

  • Police responded to a shoplifting report at Boscov's in the mall on May 11th. A Meriden man has been accused of stealing $497.98 worth of merchandise from the store. He was charged with sixth-degree theft and released on a promise to appear in court.
  • Police responded to a domestic dispute on May 12th. A Milford man has been accused of pushing two victims to the ground multiple times and punching one in the face. Two children were present during the alleged crime. The man was charged with two counts each of disorderly conduct, third-degree assault and risk of injury to a minor. Bail was set at $2,500.
  • Police responded to a Cherry Street address on a report of a car accident on May 12th. Police found a Milford man nearby who had left the scene of the accident. He was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, evading responsibility and unsafe support. Bail was set at $500.
  • Police arrested an Orange woman on May 13 on an active warrant. She is accused of threatening a customer while working at a restaurant on Boston Post Road. She was charged with disorderly conduct and released on a promise to appear in court.
  • Police arrested a Milford woman on May 15 on an active warrant. She is accused of repeatedly hitting, physically binding and threatening a victim. She was charged with two counts of disorderly conduct and one count each of third-degree assault, third-degree strangulation, unlawful restraint, second-degree menacing and second-degree harassment. Bail was set at $7,500.
