4 late-season Miami Dolphins games where flexion could occur

The Miami Dolphins' final primetime game of the 2024 season will be in Week 17 when the Browns and Dolphins play on Sunday Night Football. Depending on how both teams play, this game could take place outside of prime time. This is something people are already thinking about.

At this early stage, the game is unlikely to be postponed, but there are others that have Dolphins fans already talking about a possible flexion. With that in mind, here are four games to keep in mind as we approach the regular season:

Miami will play the Jets in Miami Week 14 and again in Week 18. Last year, the Dolphins and Bills were in the spotlight for the division title – the league seems to believe the Jets will come in to compete for the division this year. It might make sense for Miami to play New York in prime time in Week 18. Could you imagine if the AFC East title was on the line? Week 14 will also be quite fascinating.

I wouldn't bet on the NFL moving this game. It's rare for the league to switch non-conference games, but when both teams are playing for something important, it's possible. Still, I wouldn't bet on this being postponed.

This could be a great game with a lot depending on the outcome. Both teams could fight to stay in contention for their respective division titles, or they could fight for a Wild Card spot. The winner of this game could come out on top if a tiebreaker scenario occurs. This is a fantastic opportunity for the NFL to flex its muscles and present a quality game against two non-division opponents.
