(RED BANK, NJ) – The Vogel presents Blackmore's Night with special guests The Wizard's Consort on Friday, July 5th and Saturday, July 6th, 2024 at 8:00 p.m. Deep Purple and Rainbow's legendary guitarist Ritchie Blackmore and award-winning singer Candice Night created a new genre of music for all ages… inspired by many Renaissance tunes that Blackmore adapted into contemporary music. They call it Renaissance/Folk/Rock. That's the sound of Blackmore's Night.

In 1997 Blackmore's Night released their debut CD, Shadow of the moon, which went instant gold in Japan and won accolades worldwide. Meanwhile, their loyal fan base is growing exponentially as the band plays their mystical music for all ages. From grandparents to children, everyone enjoys their medieval mood music and gypsy dances. Obviously, the music of Blackmore's Night touches fans on a deep level and makes them experience a completely different era of happiness.

Leading this band is award-winning lyricist and singer Candice Night, who not only contributes her unique, captivating vocals, but also skillfully operates seven medieval woodwinds, including chanters, shawms, penny whistles and recorders. Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee and celebrated guitarist Ritchie Blackmore, who oscillates between acoustic and electric guitar, mandolin, mandola and hurdy-gurdy. The band's inspiring sound is further enhanced by keyboardist/backup vocalist Bard David; violinist, Scarlett Fiddler; backing vocalist/rhythm guitar, Lady Jessie; bassist/rhythm guitarist Earl Gray; and drummer Troubadour from Aberdeen. With lyrics penned by Night, the collective embraces the aura of the old-world pub, from madrigals and ballads to good old-fashioned Renaissance-inspired pub ditties.

Additionally, every single Blackmore's Night studio CD landed in the top 2 of the Billboard charts, many of which reached or remained at #1. They have won awards such as “Best Album of the Year” and “Best Vocal Album of the Year” and their sold-out concerts in castles and UNESCO sites around the world are filled with thousands of fans in Renaissance garb who dance and sing as if it would be time to stand still. No clocks, no pressure, just the happiness and camaraderie of a medieval pub. Everyone joins in and loses their stress in the music.

2022 marked the official 25th anniversary of Blackmore's Night. This year in 2024 they celebrate the 25th year of their 3rd CD, Fire at midnight. A 25th edition of Fires will be released later this year. In addition, a new solo CD release by Candice Night is planned.
