Three people are seriously injured in motorcycle accidents in Londonderry and Auburn

LONDONDERRY, NH – Londonderry Police and Fire Departments responded to the intersection of Route 102 and Mohawk Drive on Sunday for a report of a motorcycle-car accident.

Londonderry Fire Engine 2 arrived at 12:26 p.m. and found the motorcycle operator down in the roadway. According to Londonderry Fire, an investigation revealed that one patient suffered serious injuries and several other people were injured, with one occupant of the car becoming trapped.

Additional equipment including LFD Rescue, a Derry engine and three additional ambulances from Derry, Windham and Hudson. Local companies worked together to free the trapped occupant and treat the injured. A total of two patients were transported from the scene of the accident to the local emergency room, one of whom was seriously injured and one was slightly injured.

Londonderry Fire remained on scene for approximately three hours assisting Londonderry Police with accident reconstruction. Initial information indicates the car traveled north on Mohawk and entered Route 102, where the motorcycle traveled east.

Londonderry police are investigating the accident and no further information is available at this time.

Early Sunday, Auburn and Derry Fire responded to a single motorcycle crash on Bypass 28 near Priscilla Lane. Auburn Fire arrived on scene and found two people with serious injuries on the street below. Fire and EMS provided medical aid to the victims and requested a trauma alert at Elliot Hospital for the two victims.

The roadway was closed for approximately one hour while the accident was investigated and the scene of the accident was clear. According to initial information, the motorcycle was traveling south on Bypass 28 with several other motorcycles.
