Larsa Pippen and Montana Yao are far from nice.

On Monday, Malik Beasley publicly apologized to his estranged wife Yao for his previous relationship with Pippen, 46, when he and Yao were still legally married. (Beasley, 24, and Pippen were first seen spending time together last fall but have since split.)

Yao filed for divorce from Beasley in December, claiming she and her son were kicked out of her home and that Beasley cheated on her with Pippen.

Yao addressed his apology on her Instagram Story later Monday, saying that she and the couple's son, Makai, 2, “appreciate Malik's apology.”

“It’s hard to admit to bad decisions and especially to publicly apologize,” she wrote. “My son is and always will be my top priority, so I will be happy when he looks back on all of this one day and sees his father publicly apologizing for publicly hurting us.”

Yao then called Beasley's Instagram message a “step forward in healing” before adding that she hopes they “can all move forward, away from the anger and pain that they can muster.” [Makai] with love, respect and happiness on both sides.

In a follow-up post, Yao then criticized Pippen over her relationship with Beasley, commenting on the former Real Housewives of Miami star in a heated message.

Yao criticized Pippen for disrespecting the “Girl Code” – saying she wouldn't know if it “smacked her in the face” – before claiming that the reality star “every single day, every single day.” “Man would call paparazzi” while he was with Beasley.

“Do you need that much influence at your age? Like I’ll be damned if I’m still behaving like this in 23 years,” Yao added.

Following Yao's post, Pippen then shared a response on her own Instagram Story, in which she addressed Beasley and Yao, saying she could “spend the day talking back and forth” about the ordeal, “but “I would never do that from woman to woman, especially not about a man.” Pippen continued, saying she wanted to “clear up some of the misinformation” that Yao had shared.

She wrote that Beasley “cried entirely too much” and called him “cheap.”

Pippen then gave Yao some “feminine advice,” adding, “If you ever find another man who wants you for you and doesn't want all the free press I give you both, lock him up.” Malik was a clout hunter , who pursued me ruthlessly before I even knew you existed. And I have all the DMs, but then again he knows that.

Pippen had previously claimed that Beasley was separated from Yao when they met.

However, the back and forth didn't end there. Yao hit back at Pippen with another post on her Instagram Story, saying, “Let's clear some things up.”

In the lengthy post, Yao also claimed that Pippen was the “influence chaser” and insisted that she built her life “on my OWN name” and not Beasley's. Yao then shared a throwback photo of Pippen alongside a more recent photo of the star, in which she commented on her looks over the years.

Last month, Pippen's rep confirmed to PEOPLE that the Bravo alum and Beasley had broken up.

“They are friends and still communicate but are not together,” a source told PEOPLE. “Distance played a role in the breakup.”

A source told PEOPLE on Monday in response to Beasley's apology post that Pippen is “looking forward to her next chapter,” adding, “Malik who?!”
