May 21 – Georgia Southern awards $600,000 to close equity gaps and increase graduation rates for low-income students | Education and Career Developer.

May 21, 2024 – Georgia Southern University students now have even more opportunities to excel with the help of two new grants from Georgia State University's National Institute for Student Success (NISS) totaling up to $600,000.

The first is a $500,000 Acceleration Grant that will be paid to Georgia Southern over the next two years to cover start-up costs for key implementation steps of an ambitious program that will further the success outcomes of Georgia Southern's students advances.
