Pennsylvania Scholastic Esports League will crown state champions

HARRISBURG, PA – The Pennsylvania Scholastic Esports League (PSEL), operated by the Chester County Intermediate Unit (CCIU), is gearing up for an exciting showdown as it prepares to be crowned Pennsylvania State Champions. The tournament final will take place on Tuesday, May 28, 2024 at Harrisburg University.

The event begins at 10:00 a.m. with a career panel offering insights into the emerging esports industry. The panel discussion is followed by gameplay with the twelve school finalists fighting for the championship title. These competitors include three Chester County districts: Owen J. Roberts, Great Valley and Downingtown Area.

PSEL's tournaments aim to foster community within schools while improving student endurance, teamwork, and communication skills. The league has seen growing participation from public, private, and charter schools, making each PSEL tournament a diverse and rewarding experience for all involved.
