Cardinal O'Hara junior Molly Rullo, the 2023-24 Daily Times Player of the Year, was recently named Miss Pennsylvania Basketball 2024.

The announcement was made on May 19 during a ceremony at the Harrisburg Country Club.

Rullo is the first O'Hara player to receive the prestigious award and the third Philadelphia Catholic League player, joining Archbishop Wood's Ryanne Allen (2022) and Neumann-Goretti's Diamond Johnson (2020).

Rullo, a Drexel University commit, cemented her reputation as one of Pennsylvania's top high school basketball players with her standout performance during the PIAA tournament. Last season, Rullo scored nearly 17 points per game and helped O'Hara win its third PIAA championship in four years.

Last month, Rullo was named the Class 6A Player of the Year by the Pennsylvania Sportswriters.

In the PIAA Class 6A final, Rullo helped lead the Lions to victory over Spring-Ford, scoring 13 points in a decisive 42-26 win. In the semifinal round, she dominated with a game-high 18 points, helping O'Hara to a 51-32 win over Parkland.
