Here are the storm details from the meteorologists of the television station WFSB 3

“Today will start dry and clear, then our skies will become partly cloudy during the afternoon. With more comfortable humidity, temperatures will peak in the 70s to 80s inland and 75s to 85s on the coast,” said Mark Dixon, WFSB 3 TV's chief meteorologist, along with Scot Haney. “Scattered showers are possible in the evening and beyond as a cold front approaches. A low pressure system will move along the front as it crosses southern New England tonight, increasing the chance of rain (some thunder is not out of the question). Showers will continue into tomorrow morning, then clearing will begin.” (Read/watch more at WFSB 3 TV).
