Scottsdale welcomes the Italiano this summer

The Maggiore Group will open its sixth concept, The Italiano, in Scottsdale this summer. Led by Chef Joey Maggiore, The Italiano will offer casual elegance and authentic Italian dishes.

With Valley favorites like Hash Kitchen, The Sicilian Butcher and The Mexicano on its roster, the Maggiore Group is known for its unique dining experiences. Italiano promises to transport guests to the heart of Italy's culinary tradition with its flavors of “old-fashioned red sauce Italian cuisine” — with a touch from Chef Maggiore, of course. The new Scottsdale restaurant continues the Maggiore Group's tradition of interactive table experiences. Options include an antipasto cart where guests can build their own plate with dozens of different ingredients, as well as a limoncello cocktail cart and a zabaione dessert cart.

“This will be our best concept yet! We're drawing inspiration from every corner of Italy to combine age-old traditions with innovative approaches,” says Chef Maggiore, executive chef and co-founder of The Maggiore Group and Chef Joey Concepts, in a press release. “We can't wait for you to experience our family heritage in a new and familiar way.”

The new 700 sqm restaurant welcomes guests with a charming entrance surrounded by limestone and olive trees, as well as a beautiful terrace. Italiano will enhance the dining experience with a private dining room featuring an immersive art installation that pays homage to the legendary Tomaso's restaurant, dedicated to Chef Maggiore's late father. Other design elements include a stunning celestial painted ceiling.
