Indiana hosts South Carolina on Saturday, November 16 – Inside the Hall

Indiana hosts South Carolina in a nonconference game at Assembly Hall on Saturday, November 16.

The Gamecocks finished 26-8 last season and lost to Oregon in the first round of the 2024 NCAA Tournament. According to Jon Rothstein, this is not a home-and-away series.

South Carolina is currently ranked 53rd in Bart Torvik's predictions for next season.

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The Indiana men’s basketball team will host the South Carolina Gamecocks in a non-league game on Saturday, Nov. 16, 2024, at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall.

The time and television broadcast of the game will be announced at a later date.

The Hoosiers lead the series 2-1 against South Carolina. The Gamecocks will return to Bloomington for the first time since an 84-71 victory by the Hoosiers on Dec. 22, 1973. Indiana defeated South Carolina 76-55 in the 1998 Hoosier Classic on Nov. 8, 1998 in Indianapolis.

Overall, Indiana is 68-51 against teams currently in the Southeastern Conference.
