CONCORD, NH – Concord police arrested a woman Wednesday accused of stabbing cars with a knife in the parking lot of an apartment building on Fisherville Road.

At around 3:45 p.m., police headquarters received a report from a woman accusing another woman of stabbing and damaging cars with a knife. The suspect was described as white with blonde hair, wearing shorts, a light pink sweatshirt and red high heels.

According to a witness, a knife was still sticking out of the Toyota Camry parked in the Meadowbrook Apartments parking lot.

An officer was dispatched to the scene, while other officers who had dropped out of attendance checks arrived later. By the time the first officer arrived, the suspect had already left the area.

One of the officers said he may have seen the woman run a red light earlier in the day on Fisherville Road near Dunkin' Donuts. The complainant knew the woman because she was hanging around the area, but did not know her last name. She believed the woman was homeless and in her early 20s. She said she did not want to press charges, but the watch commander said the suspect would be arrested if found.

The officer also stated that there was hair on the ground near one of the cars.

After taking statements from the victim, officers fanned out and spent the next 30 minutes searching additional housing complexes, including various parts of the Meadowbrook complex and Penacook Place, as well as homeless encampments in the area. Believing the suspect may have been hiding in Building 86 of the Meadowbrook complex, officers returned to the complex and searched the building. Having no luck, they then searched Building 90.

Shortly before 4:30 p.m., police dispatch received a call from Frekey's Dairy Freeze reporting a woman on the ground in the front of the store. The woman's description matched that of the suspect. Officers arrived and the woman began screaming and crying. She was then arrested.
