Georgia baseball failed to advance past the Athens Regional when it hosted NCAA Tournament games as a national seed in 2018 and 2019. In their last tournament appearance in 2022, the Bulldogs went 1-2 at a regional in North Carolina.

Starting Friday, the Bulldogs will get another unique opportunity to compete in their first Super Regional since 2008 when they open Athens Regional play against Army.

The Patriot League champions won their nation-leading sixth consecutive conference title by defeating Navy.

The Black Knights played at the Peach State in March and split a four-game series at Georgia State.

Army Ranks 17th The nation's ERA is 4.28 and the number of hits allowed per nine innings is 8.1.

Georgia's 140 home runs rank third in the country, led by Charlie Condon's national-high 35, the most in a single season this century.
