Del Taco opens new location in Tallahassee, Florida, USA

American fast-food chain Del Taco has expanded its presence in Florida with the opening of a new restaurant at 2410 Apalachee Parkway in the city of Tallahassee.

It is the brand's tenth location in the state and the third under the Consolidated Taco Holdings franchise organization.

The new location features Del Taco's Fresh Flex design and offers a modernized layout.

The Tallahassee restaurant offers contactless pickup locations for deliveries and a drive-through lane and is open seven days a week from 10 a.m. to midnight.

Del Taco is known for using freshly grilled meats, house-shredded cheddar cheese and homemade guacamole.

The menu at the new location includes crinkle-cut fries, tacos, epic burritos and quesadillas, as well as drinks and desserts.

A spokesperson for Consolidated Taco Holdings said, “May was an exciting month as we opened two new Del Taco locations in the area, a location in DeFuniak Springs and now here in Tallahassee.

“As the first Del Taco in the Tallahassee market, we are excited to bring Del’s Mexican-American menu to the local community, featuring high-quality foods chopped, grilled and shredded fresh in the kitchen every day.”

For a limited period, the restaurant is reintroducing its beef birria [a rich stew] Menu featuring birria-style shredded beef in tacos, along with quesadillas, ramen and the new grilled combo burrito accompanied by consommé.

The expansion in Tallahassee follows the opening of a Del Taco location in Port Orange, Florida.

The Port Orange location is the brand's first project in the city and the second branch owned by the Singh Group.
