Tuscanooga Baptist Church honors graduates

On Sunday, May 19, nine graduates were honored during morning worship at Tuscanooga Baptist Church. Each graduate received a Bible from Pastor Casey Ferguson. Afterwards, each graduate's future plans were presented and a special prayer was said for each of them.

  • Pauline B. was homeschooled under the direction of Heritage Grace Preparatory Academy. Her future plans are to study fine arts at the University of Florida.
  • Trenton Hardy-Johnston graduated from South Lake High School in Groveland and plans to attend Lake Sumter State College to pursue a career in architecture.
  • Jacob and Joshua Blackman (twins) were homeschooled at Stepping Stones High School in Tampa, Florida. Jacob is interested in the field of heating, ventilation and air conditioning, while Joshua wants to be an electrician.
  • Ethan Parks Bushnell is a graduate of South Sumter High School. He plans to attend Saint Leo University and study political science with the goal of one day entering politics.
  • Emma Pridgen is a graduate of South Lake High School in Groveland, Florida. She plans to attend Lake-Sumter State College to one day become a bovine embryologist.
  • Lizzie Shurley completed her high school career at First Academy in Leesburg, Florida. She plans to attend Warner University and pursue a degree in agriculture and rural policy to become an agricultural lobbyist and hopefully one day serve in the Florida House of Representatives.
  • Natalie Moore completed her high school education at South Sumter High School in Bushnell while also earning an AA degree from Lake Sumter State College. She plans to major in animal science and hopes to work in the meat production industry.
  • Bailey Trinder is a graduate of Stetson University, Deland. He earned a BA with a minor in sports management.
