INDIANA, PURCHASE LINE BOARDS WILL MEET TO MAKE PREPARATIONS FOR 2024-25

Indiana Area’s School Board on Monday will tackle a very large agenda, with items including revisions to the district’s science curriculum, a number of professional services agreements with outside agencies, the partnership program with IUP and WCCC, and a dual enrollment agreement with Beaver County Community College.  Other items scheduled for action are an agreement with River Valley School District for courses and programs not available at ICTC, and the hiring of new teachers.

 

The board will also get an update on the Eisenhower Elementary project and consider four change orders, and there will be discussion of the feasibility of a solar energy project at East Pike Elementary.

 

Purchase Line’s school board will hold a work session with an extensive agenda, including the final budget plan for fiscal 2025.

 

The board will continue its review of about four dozen school district policies for deletion, modification, or adoption.  The sports schedules for the upcoming school year will be discussed, and a number of coaching positions are also scheduled for action, including the boys and girls basketball head coaches and assistants.  Also up for consideration are the athletic director position and the district solicitor.
