Colts QB Anthony Richardson gets advice from legendary Hall of Famer Joe Montana

According to his agent Deiric Jackson, Indianapolis Colts Starting quarterback Anthony Richardson recently met with the Hall of Fame quarterback Joe Montana to have a conversation and get advice – maybe even on how to be great:

With training camp starting late next month, Richardson is using his free time productively and could ask one of the best NFL quarterbacks of all time a lot of questions.

Montana is a former superstar quarterback who really needs no introduction: 4x NFL Super Bowl Champion, 3x NFL Super Bowl MVP, 2x NFL MVP, 3x NFL First-Team All-Pro, 2x NFL 2nd-Team All-Pro, 8x NFL Pro Bowler and NFL Offensive Player of the Year, among many other outstanding awards and honors throughout his career.

He played 15 professional seasons, including 13 seasons for the San Francisco 49ers and later, at the end of his career, two seasons for the Kansas City Chiefs.

Along with his arch-enemy Tom Brady, Montana is considered to be the best quarterback of all time in the game's biggest phases – and can now boast several Super Bowl rings.

What the exact content of their recent conversation was and what it entailed remains unclear, but his agent noted that advice was given.

I could imagine that Richardson, who is just 22 years old, could learn a lot from one of the true GOATs of the game even in the short time they have together (*yes, I'll throw Peyton Manning in that hat too, but I digress).

While other players may spend their free time doing less productive things, Richardson seems to be making the most of the remaining offseason until training camp begins.
