Maine is incredibly beautiful, and as Mainers we are truly lucky to live here. Sometimes we actually forget how spoiled that's who we really are.

People “from outside” may not understand how we can take our surroundings for granted, but for us it is simply part of everyday life in the country we are on holiday.

Seriously, no matter where you are in Maine, you're always close to natural beauty. Even in the larger cities like Portland and Bangor, you're just minutes away from a dip in your favorite spa. Pond, Flowor lake.

Among the many wonders waiting to be discovered and explored are the waterfalls of Maine. They may not be the first thing that comes to mind when you think of summer in Maine, but they are truly something special.

But how can you determine and identify the most beautiful waterfall in Maine?
