Carrie Underwood falls off stage in the rain at a concert in South Carolina


Carrie Underwood suffered a nasty fall on stage in the pouring rain at the Carolina Country Music Fest in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina on Sunday night.

As seen in a TMZ video, the 41-year-old country superstar was just finishing up a performance of her classic “Before He Cheats” when she walked to the back of the stage in the middle of a rainstorm.

The footage then shows Underwood suddenly falling off the stage and disappearing.

The crowd screamed in response to her fall.

Underwood appeared to reference the mishap when she shared an Instagram post about the concert on Monday.

“So last night was really fun! And even though the ending was pretty unexpected, it was a night we will never forget! 🌧️💧☔️ Thank you for being so amazing #MyrtleBeach!” she wrote.

The Post has reached out to Underwood's representative for comment.

The American Idol winner also shared a video of her performance in the rain, writing, “We won't let a little rain stop us! And we won't let a massive downpour stop us either!”

Her fans praised Underwood for continuing her show in the middle of a torrential downpour.

“This is dedication and devotion to the fans that got her there. No one else is like her,” commented one fan.

“She is a true artist who cares about her fans,” another person wrote.

“It was AWESOME. The rain was such a great end to a hot weekend,” said another person.

Another fan called Underwood's performance a “life-changing experience.”

Underwood headlined the ninth annual Carolina Country Music Fest for the first time and sang some of her hits, including “Jesus, Take the Wheel,” “Good Girl,” and the aforementioned “Before He Cheats.”

More than 35,000 people reportedly attended the event.

Underwood has been mostly in Las Vegas lately, where she has been performing at Resorts World since 2021 as part of her “Residency Reflection.” It was so successful that Underwood has continued to extend it. Her last Las Vegas show is scheduled for October.

“What I love about Vegas is that you're in one place, but everyone comes from everywhere,” she previously told Rolling Stone.

“It's a conglomeration of people from all over the world. It's cool to look at the audience and think about it.”
