Gas pump prices in Florida are at their lowest levels in months, falling 25 cents in the last 17 days.

The state average price was $3.30 per gallon on Sunday, the lowest daily average since February 28.

According to a press release from AAA–The Auto Club Group, the average price of gasoline in Florida is currently 15 cents lower than a week ago, 22 cents lower than a month ago and nine cents lower than the same period last year.

“Floridians and summer visitors will be pleasantly surprised when they fill up their tanks this week,” spokesman Mark Jenkins said in the news release. “Gasoline prices are at their lowest levels in several months due to weakness in the oil and gasoline futures markets.”

In recent weeks, US crude oil prices have fallen to $75.53 per barrel, down nearly $5 per barrel from three weeks ago.
