Maine American Idol star Julia Gagnon performs at the Maine Lobster Festival

ROCKLAND – “Julia Gagnon, a beloved Maine native and Cumberland resident, captivated the state and nation during her impressive performance on Season 22 of the popular reality singing show American Idol,” Maine Lobster Festival said in a press release. “Gagnon made it to the Top 7 and won the hearts and votes of fans across the country with her powerful performances and genuine charm.”

This summer, Gagnon will embark on her “Here In Maine” tour, a heartfelt journey through her home state to thank the Mainers who supported her during her American Idol journey. The tour will make a special stop at the Maine Lobster Festival on Sunday, August 4th at 3 p.m. on the Main Stage. Festival-goers can enjoy this performance at no additional cost, as admission to the festival and concert is free.

Gagnon performs under the stage name JULIA and is accompanied by her fiancé Nate. Together they will present a collection of new, original songs during the tour.
