FSU Flying High Circus receives donation of over $12,000 to rebuild its circus tent

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – Florida State University's Flying High Circus received a check Friday to rebuild its Big Top tent, which was destroyed in the May 10 storms.

The news comes two weeks after the circus asked the community for support.

The clothing store Alumni Hall wrote them a check for $12,000 from T-shirt sales to support fundraisers. They said over 650 people from across the country purchased them.

Former circus president Lexy Glor said she was incredibly grateful for the donation.

“It is overwhelmingly nice to see such support and we will definitely use the money to do many good things for the circus,” said Glor.

The circus plans to use the donation to replace equipment lost in the storm.
