Martin Ojeda, Robin Jansson and Ivan Angulo scored in the first half and hosts Orlando City won for the third time in their last four games, defeating DC United 5-0 on Saturday night.

Facundo Torres and Ramiro Enrique scored second-half goals as Orlando City (7-9-6, 27 points) maintained its offensive power with a season-high number of goals.

Goalkeeper Pedro Gallese did not concede a goal and was able to save one shot.

DC United (4-11-8, 20 points) is coming off a 10-game winless streak, going 0-7-3 during that time. Goalie Tyler Miller stopped five shots.

DC United played with a man less in the second half after defender Lucas Bartlett was sent off with a red card in extra time of the first half.

Orlando City has scored two or more goals in five consecutive games and it didn't take long for the offense to gain momentum.

Ojeda scored a goal from the centre of the box in the 19th minute. Dagur Thorhallsson set up the goal by bringing the ball close to the byline and then playing it back to Ojeda, who scored his third goal of the season and second in as many games.

Jansson, a defender who scored his first goal since 2022, made it 2-0 with a header in the 23rd minute, with an assist from Wilder Cartagena.

Angulo’s third goal of the season came in the 42nd minute.

DC United only had three shots on goal during the half.

Duncan McGuire, Orlando City's leading scorer, provided an assist for his second goal of the season in the second half.
