Man wanted in death of 13-year-old girl in Orange County

ORANGE COUNTY, Florida. – The Orange County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a man who may know something about the July 4 killing of a 13-year-old girl.

Rose Thalie Dieujeste was found unconscious in the 4400 block of S. Rio Grande Ave. with “obvious signs of trauma,” investigators said. She was taken to a hospital where she later died.

On Wednesday, investigators released surveillance footage of a man the homicide squad is now trying to identify. Crimeline is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to an arrest in the case.

The images and videos released by the sheriff's office show a man wearing a reddish T-shirt and white pants leaving a parking lot.

“Our investigators are doing everything they can to catch Rose's killer and need the community's help to do so. No detail is too small,” a press release said.

Anyone with information on the man's identity is asked to contact Crimeline at 800-423-8477.
