Yellowstone Star Reacts to Taylor Sheridan's Western Being Calling Game of Thrones, Set in Montana

Wes Bentley plays the ambitious character Jamie Dutton, the adopted son of John and Evelyn Dutton Yellowstone. He was happy that fans did the same for his series.

When asked if he noticed the parallels between the “Expanding family history” Bentley admitted that there was definitely a connection between the two series. He shared that the family dynamics and characters' goals worked in similar ways in both series. The American beauty Actor shared with EW:

“[About the cliffhanger] It will be a great time to hear what the fans think as a community. I mean, I was a Game of Thrones fan, so I had my own theories. […] Yes, there definitely is [a connection]. The way the family dynamic works and the goals that somehow all fit together in a strange way.”

Taylor Sheridan used game of Thrones as an example to illustrate the importance of world-building in the series. He spoke to Deadline about the evolution of Beth and Jamie Dutton's complicated relationship in the show's third season.
