Herbert Erich Leichssenring EWING – Herbert Erich Leichssenring, Sr., 78, of Ewing Township, passed away Saturday, November 19, 2016, at the Capital Health-Hopewell Campus. He was born in New Brunswick and lived in Ewing most of his life. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and retired from ETS in Hopewell, New Jersey. Herbert was predeceased by his parents Alexander Kurt Leichssenring and Elsa (Madder) Leichssenring; and his son Heath Lee Leichssenring. He is survived by his wife Roberta (Canaan) Leichssenring; sons and daughters-in-law: Herbert Erich Leichssenring, Jr. and Michelle, Scott and Judy Leichssenring and Travis and Rachel Leichssenring; a brother and spouse, A. Kurt and Charlene Leichssenring; grandchildren, Rachael N. Leichssenring, Ella Rose Leichssenring and Amanda, Ali and Keily Leichssenring; great-grandchildren Damian, Haley, Tristan and Brice; and many nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held on Friday, December 2nd at 10 a.m. at Greenwood Cemetery Mausoleum, 1800 Hamilton Avenue, Hamilton, NJ 08619. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his name to the following organizations: Autism Speaks or SPCA or Wounded Warrior Project.
